#DYK That Over Half of the BLM’s Rangeland Management Program Funds Rangeland Health and Wildlife Projects?
Federal funding for the Rangeland Management Program is delegated into categories and various types of projects that not only support the grazing program, but also support the health of the land and wildlife. Some of these projects include removal of invasive weeds on rangelands and in waterways to restore native plants and wildlife, as well as to prevent soil erosion.
